Leader: In this Advent season, we honor a time in history when people anticipated the birth of a child.

People: The child grew to be a man who gave hope to his people.

Leader: That man showed the people new ways to express God in their lives.

People: Following his example, we express God in everything we do.

Leader: There are people who do not know how to express God.

People: There are people who do not know love.

All: We will love them. We will look for the Christ presence in them and show them how to express it. We will be the change we wish to see in the world.
