1. Everything is changing
Like the butterflies
Grow from eggs so tiny
To their adult size.
First as caterpillars
With their funny eyes
Then as chrysalises
Twitching with surprise;
Lastly wings develop,
Wings to fly the skies.
2. God is in the changing
Moving as it goes,
Joining in the rhythm
Like a dancer’s toes.
Found in each beginning,
Present at the close,
Turning with the changes
As a river flows,
God the ever-living
Nurtures all that grows.
