Beneath My Skin

From the ‘Sing Young, Sing Joyfully’ collection

1.  Beneath my skin

I’m flesh and bone;

There’s more to me than you can see.

Beneath my smile

I’ve fears and pain;

There’s more to me than you can see.

2.  Beneath my frown

I’ve peace inside;

There’s more to me than you can see.

So I won’t judge

What people are;

There’s more to them than I can see.
