Most noble of creatures on Earth are we
Yet gifted with power to both hurt and kill.
Are money and things our most sought for goal?
Or Earth and its life what transforms our will?
The choice is ours may our choice today
Be choosing to live a God-like Way.
The greatest inventors on Earth are we
Yet makers of cruel and squalid scenes.
Producing the ugly, the vile and crude
Or breathing new life into grace-filled dreams.
The choice is ours may our choice today
Be choosing to live a God-like Way.
The greatest of thinkers of Earth’s are we
Yet able to lapse into mindless acts.
We measure the details which Earth contains
But fail to sense wonder that hides in facts.
The choice is ours may our choice today
Be choosing to live a God-like Way.
Most mystery filled life of this Earth are we
Yet often are blasé of heart and mind.
Some people have heart-fires which barely burn
While others with passion promote what’s kind.
The choice is ours may our choice today
Be choosing to live a God-like Way.
The gift that is greatest is how to choose,
If used with compassion that wisdom graced.
Our minds can discern and our wills find strength
To live out the lifestyle that Christ embraced.
