In the wonder of love
Two people appear as one
Without absorbing the other
Each respecting intimacy and solitude.
In the splendor of love
Two people shall brightly shine
Without obscuring the other
As both grow to reflect their partner’s radiance
Thus reflecting the mystery
Who is both many and yet one,
The myst’ry to whom with delight
We sing ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA!
In the bonding of love
The ecstasy one has found
Shall with great joy bless the other
And interweaving bliss affirm identity.
In the sharing of love
The grief that one lover feels
Shall be sorrow for the other
And intermingling tears become new streams of life
Thus reflecting the mystery
Who is both many and yet one,
The myst’ry to whom with delight
We sing ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA!
In the singing of love
All Alleluias are one
Yet remain the song of each heart
Which links all together in lyric resonance
Thus reflecting the mystery
Who is both many and yet one
The myst’ry to whom with delight
We sing ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA!
