As the British prepared for weeks of bombing and probable invasion during WWII, the message they sent to the public was simple: Keep calm and carry on. We can slow the spread of the virus but we cannot stop it and over the next year, it is likely that most of us will get it. Since it is now an inevitability, let’s try to keep calm and choose how we will react. Let’s take care of one another. Let’s share our resources whether that is money or toilet paper. Let’s inject humor into our conversation and encourage one another. This crisis will be over one day, and when it is, let’s have carried on in a way that we can be proud of.
