Wisdom Quotes
Most young children are born with a sense of wonder and anticipate discovery around every corner. A shiny penny or a snowflake holds a world of delight. But perhaps because our culture tends to overstimulate and excite our children, boredom begins to seep in as children get older. It’s not uncommon to hear complaints of, “I’ve seen that” or “I know that already” from children who are already closing the doors to their sense of discovery.
Everything in this world, no matter how rewarding, eventually ends. Sincerely following the wisdom teachings of Jesus leads to ever increasing joy and freedom. For those willing to cast away fear and live lives of faith, courage and selfless love, there is endless discovery and opportunity for growth.
The lifelong learning of the spiritual life involves so much more than the classroom learning we are all familiar with. Every facet of life is touched as we keep our hearts open and let spirit and truth guide us through every experience. Let’s approach life with the wonder of a child and share our discoveries with our children. Perhaps together we can develop an irresistible habit for learning.
