1.   As well as a bed

We need an inner space where stillness lives.

As well as a roof

We need the shelter loving gives.

2.   As well as some clothes

We need a snugly rug inside our mind.

As well as a meal

We need the thoughts that make us kind.

3.   God gives us much more

Than what we need for shelter, food or bed.

Love’s feast in our heart

Provides our mind with lasting bread.
