O’Sullivan’s civil rights writings are available at archive.progressivechristianity.org. They include activities dating back to the 1950’s. Robert O’Sullivan was involved in the march on Washington in 1963, the keeping of the peace in Oakland after the King assassination in 1968, and the 2015 50th anniversary of the Selma march. O’Sullivan taught high school English and Social Studies at Oakland High Schools for over twenty years.
