Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your enormous deficit
of justice and your obscene
passion for greed and luxury
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for the millions of people
Who suffer without healthcare
In the midst of the most
Opulent society of the globe
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your predatory inclination
for bellicosity and your
profound alienation from
peacemaking and the passion for solidarity
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your moral dualism
that devalues your national honor
among the nations of the Earth
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your opportunistic
interventions in many countries
that paralyzes social progress
and ignore the cry of the children
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your syndrome of
Power lovers and your need
of humbleness; for the
abuses of your economic power that
sacrifice the sanctity of life
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your beautiful rivers and magnificent forests,
for your blue skies and precious prairies
that suffer the impact of an insensible
human destruction
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your political discourse
that praises lies and sacrifice the Truth,
that proclaims democracy
and practices an elite oligarchy
Don`t weep for me America
Weep for your superficial religious
lifestyle without true compassion;
for your pietistic prosperity without
prophetic spirituality
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for the blindness of your
cotidianity,
for the vacuum of your dreams,
for the exclusiveness
of your feelings
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your cloudy prosperity and blindness to see
the richness of the World cultural diversity ,
The Amazon natural paradise,
The beauty of you moons,
The multicolor of your spring time,
The poetry of your autumn
weep for the distortion of your American Dream
And the lack of holistic, inclusive and loving vision
Don`t weep for me America,
Weep for your
Economic prosperity
Under the shadow
Of a deadly vacuum of HOPE
