Christian homophobia has many strategies to promote its homophobic agenda.
One strategy is to claim that the laws are divided into three categories: judicial, moral, and ceremonial. Christian homophobia claims that Christians no longer have to follow the ceremonial law. They claim the judicial law was just for Israel. But Christians are still under the moral law.
The problem with this is that the Bible never divides the laws into these categories. These categories are imposed by people on the Bible.
In addition, these three categories are employed by Christian homophobia in order to justify picking and choosing Biblical laws by pretending that they are not picking and choosing Biblical laws. It allows them to arbitrarily claim that some laws are judicial when they could just as easily be moral, and some laws are moral when they could just as easily be judicial.
Whenever a Christian says that there are three categories of laws in the Bible, you should have big red flags because they are likely (mis)using laws as a weapon against vulnerable people.
