Spirit within us, Spirit we call Holy,

With us, not of us, God’s own self with ours.

Presence of power, Spirit to spirit given,

This be our prayer now:

Through us your will be done.

Spirit within us, Spirit known in Jesus,

Ever alive through death and long beyond.

Called now the Christ, full bearer of the Spirit.

So do we pray now:

Through Christ your will be done.

Spirit within us, Spirit who prays with us,

Knowing the thoughts we carry in our hearts.

Transforming power, source of our faith and hope,

Raise prayer to love now:

Through love your will be done.
