Our lives can be described through the language of pictorial depiction
So can humankind’s relation to our Creator-God, often with conviction
An older style of textile art uses crisscross threads woven on a loom
Spelling out various colored patterns as if never running out of room
A rich tapestry of human expression that accents a given Godly beauty
Done more out of an inner prompting than some type of required duty
A set of interlacing threads — the vertical warp and horizontal woof
Forming colored and intricate designs that have little need for proof
If God were to be viewed as the parallel threads looming ever upward
Perhaps humans are the threads woven left to right, advancing cross-ward
Threads intimately enmeshed with one another, linking human to divine
One depending on the other to define the relation, mysteriously sublime
Threads of a diverse humanity that course their lives through the weave
They can intersect the infinite God of beauty, lovingly may they believe
Tapestry is a woof-faced weaving with all the warp threads being hidden
Like Earthly lives lived but with God’s ethereal Spirit, as scripture-written
