Time is said to be a dimension akin to expanding space
In the cosmic scheme of things, it has its rightful place

Intangible as it is, time passage is something we all sense
Earth clocks tick so quickly, verbs becoming past tense

An evolving cosmos — genesis from the Big Bang “seed”
End point unknown — asking “Why?” is human, indeed

Celestial objects formed by gravity and selective clumping
Object fates theorized about, some ideas worth debunking

Astrophysical changes so real as observed from the Earth
To ponder, speculate, and wonder — all has human worth

Advanced, complex life forms on the surface of our planet
Billions of years in the making, more sacred than granite

An ascension to a life form known by the word “human”
“Created in God’s image” says ancient scriptural canon

To ponder our future development and a human evolution
Gives us pause to envision a needed “saving Earth” solution

We’re spirit-filled beings, inheritors of evolving consciousness
A timeless path with/toward God — destining divine awareness
