Autumn….the harvest…. the fall equinox…. days grow shorter and we are reminded of nature’s cycle moving inexorably toward winter yet again. We celebrate the abundance of the earth and at the same time share our concern about humanity’s impact on the planet. It begins with acknowledging that we are part of Creation, or as Chief Seattle said so well many years ago, “Man did not weave the web of life. He is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”
