We are each walking up the mountain of spiritual enlightenment, each on our own path, each discovering the same ancient truths in our own way and in our own words. It is important to share those discoveries, for the words that make a difference to you can come from many sources. And you never know for whom your words are exactly the right ones. As Albert Schweitzer once wrote:
Impart as much as you can of your spiritual being to those who are on the road with you, and accept as something precious what comes back to you from them.
A candle is burning yellow near the rail of an altar
In the church setting its flame will likely not falter
Where does this Jesus live? Where does he stay?
Are gospel stories right in what they say?
Look at me! Check it out! I am grinning like a kid again!
I am one with the world in a flow of wonder!
Land, sea and sky join in my delight
