Being a father is one of the most challenging and most rewarding roles we may ever get to take on. Particularly in this day of self-help books and über-parenting, it is perhaps helpful to remember Clarence Kelland’s words about his father: “He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.”
Live the most loving life you can, and that is what your children will learn. When Father’s Day rolls around on June 20th, thank all the father figures in your life, for all that they have passed on to you.
