How bleak the world would be without mystery!
Even as science daily moves the line between the known and the mysterious, there is always more mystery. Religion is predicated on mystery, but even science requires it. Without mystery, there would be nothing to explore.
When our world of thought lies shattered
As its truths fragment and die
We will trust the mystery’s oneness
Held within the Earth and sky.
May the Great Mystery that we call God
keep alive in each one of us
the search for a Faith that is real;
