For Hope

My agitation cannot rest, my busy mind is not attentive; hope evades me. Gloom fills darkness and dawn does not dispel my plight. May I accept my weakness with faith that I might let go what troubles me. I put my trust in a power that is stronger than my fears.   I try to trust it to lead me through my recurring anxieties, old feelings, habitual attitudes and struggling themes. For in reconciliation to myself, I discover who I really am and am born again in hopeful expectation.
